DEAN

LEAD PASTOR

Dean brings over 25 years of diverse experience in nonprofit leadership, community development, pastoral ministry, and mission work. He has a strong background in disaster risk management and humanitarian response across Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, the Philippines, and Myanmar. As a community development specialist, Dean has also worked extensively with youth and children’s programs throughout the region. His deep cross-cultural understanding and rich international experience enable him to minister effectively in a multicultural and multi-generational church context.

He has a bachelor's degree in journalism, a graduate certificate in professional supervision, and master's degree in theology. Dean is a consultant with skills in humanitarian aid, disaster risk management, nonprofit management, coaching, mentoring, governance, and team building. He also holds a master's degree in international development from RMIT. He enjoys basketball in all of its aspects, from playing to coaching to simply watching games. Dean enjoys eating good food, travelling, and making music.

CHUNG HUI

NEXT GENERATION PASTOR

Chung serves as our Next Generation Pastor working with our youth and young adults and supporting our children’s ministry. He is a devoted husband, father, and servant leader in our church community. Having grown up in an English/Chinese church, Chung has been involved in church ministry for over 20 years. When he's not serving at the church, you might find him cheering for Manchester United or the Essendon Bombers, lacing up his running shoes, or enjoying a good game of soccer.

Chung's passion lies in discipling and fostering spiritual growth in young people, particularly second-generation youth and young adults. He loves to combine his passion for discipleship with his love of food and coffee, meeting people over a meal or a coffee to connect and build relationships. With a professional background as an accountant and entrepreneur, Chung brings a unique perspective to his ministry. He felt the call of God to equip himself to better teach the Bible, leading him to pursue a Master of Divinity at MST.

TRIANGO LEE

PASTOR

MANDARIN SERVICE

Triango was baptized in Aberdeen Baptist Church Hong Kong in 1984 and was married in 1992 to Aimee.

Triango and his family (Aimee and their son James) moved to Melbourne in 2005 and in 2007 became a member of Templestowe Baptist Church.

In early 2018, he was called to be the Pastor of the TBC Mandarin Ministry.

Triango holds a Masters Degree in Divinity and is an Accredited BUV Pastoral Leader. He is currently completing the formal training and formation for Accreditation and Ordination with the Baptist Union of Victoria.

Triango enjoys jogging, swimming, reading and music.

JASMINE SAPOLU

Jasmine has been with TBC since early 2023, appointed as our Office Manager.

She has a background in Business (Administration Management & Human Resources). She has been involved in church life as a Mother's Life Group Leader, Worship Leader and musician.

Jasmine and her husband have three active boys and enjoys lots of family time as well as cheering them on at their soccer games.
