Kids Connection
Our children's program for prep to grade five and aims to give children a strong foundation in the Christian faith in fun, relevant and interactive ways.
Children explore Bible based themes related to their everyday lives in a fun-filled, exciting way that they will understand and enjoy. Games, stories, DVD's, plays, object lessons and great kids songs & music present a positive message about Jesus and the Christian life. Kids Connection aims to disciple the children, laying firm foundations from the Bible, affirming, nurturing and empowering children to walk and live with Jesus as their special friend. There are also times of creative ministries throughout the program which develop their gifts and abilities and reinforce all they have learnt in a very hands on way.
The leaders of Kids Connection understand the many different ways in which children learn. We incorporate most of those learning methods throughout each session so that each individual child no matter what their learning style is, will understand what is being taught and should never feel threatened.
Once a term there is a 'Kids Connection Kids Day Out' where we go to various places for the whole afternoon, leaving straight after the Kids Connection program finishes. These 'Kids Connection Kids Days Out' are a great way of leaders and children getting to know each other and spending more time together doing really fun things like bowling, swimming, river cruising and mini golfing. These are especially ideal for new children as it cements friendships with the other children very quickly.

When & where?
Sundays at 9.45am - 11.30am every week of the school year. Just follow the path past the church and gazebo to the room where the 'Kids Connection' banner is hanging.
'Creative Kids' is an extra activity run straight after Kids Connection at 11.30. There are groups for Dancing, Singing, Drama and Music.
